सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहे वीडियो में यात्री कुवैत एयरपोर्ट अधिकारियों के साथ बहस करते दिख रहे हैं. यात्रियों ने आरोप लगाया है कि भारतीय यात्रियों के साथ जानबूझकर गलत व्यवहार किया जा रहा है. वहीं, अब तक गल्फ एयर की ओर से यात्रियों की मदद या समस्या के समाधान को लेकर कोई ठोस बयान नहीं आया है.

दूतावास ने लाउंज में किया ठहराने की व्यवस्था
कुवैत में भारतीय वीजा ऑन अराइवल (VoA) के लिए पात्र नहीं हैं, इसलिए वे एयरपोर्ट से बाहर नहीं निकल पा रहे हैं हालांकि वहां भारतीय दूतावास उनकी सहायता करने की कोशिश कर रहा है. फंसे हुए भारतीयों की परेशानी और बढ़ गई है क्योंकि कुवैत में खाड़ी सहयोग परिषद (GCC) की बैठक के कारण एयरपोर्ट होटल उपलब्ध नहीं है. दूतावास ने उन्हें एयरपोर्ट लाउंज में ठहराने का प्रबंध किया है.

A lawyer defending Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari,  the Hindu priest arrested and accused of sedition in Bangladesh, has been attacked, the ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) has said. A court in Bangladesh is expected to hear the case on December 3. 

In a post on X, Radharaman Das, the spokesperson for ISKCON, said, "Please pray for Advocate Ramen Roy. His only 'fault' was defending Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu in court. Islamists ransacked his home and brutally attacked him, leaving him in the ICU, fighting for his life".

Many lawyers in Bangladesh, however, have denied any such event.

Last month too, there were claims on social media and a few news outlets that a lawyer defending Chinmoy Krishna Das was killed. But investigations revealed that the murdered lawyer, Saiful Islam, was an assistant public prosecutor and he was not defending Chinmoy Das.

Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, a prominent former leader of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Bangladesh, was arrested in Dhaka last month after protests by the Hindu community in Rangpur, demanding stronger legal protections for minority groups. He has been accused of sedition and was denied bail by a Dhaka court on Tuesday.

Bangladesh has seen widespread political violence and protests over minority rights since the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Amid attacks on minority Hindus in the neighbouring coutry, Radharaman Das had earlier posted on X that two disciples of Chinmoy Krishna Das have gone missing in Chattogram after a second Hindu monk, Shyam Das Prabhu, was arrested.

India has condemned the arrest and urged Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety and security of Hindus and other minorities. 

The arrest has also been strongly criticised by Indian religious leaders and members of the civil society.

Protest rallies have been held in West Bengal and several other staes that share border with Bangladesh.

In Tripura, the criticism has taken the form of boycott. Hotels and restaurants have decided not to accept bookings from tourists from Bangladesh, the top association of the travel sector has said.

Earlier today, more than 50 protesters allegedly entered the premises of the Bangladeshi mission in Tripura capital Agartala, leading to panic among the officials and staff at the complex. India has described the incident as "deeply regrettable".

Advocate Defending Hindu Priest In Bangladesh Attacked, Says ISKCON

The Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday signed a Project Implementation Agreement with the International Solar Alliance to operationalize a solar project worth USD 2 million in Fiji, Comros, Madagascar, and the Seychelles, according to an official release.
This development comes after India committed to invest USD 2 million in new solar projects in these Indo-Pacific countries under Quad Climate Working Group initiative
Following the signing of the agreement, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal took to social media platform X to highlight India's commitment to renewables and just energy transitions in island nations of the Indo-Pacific.

As per a study undertaken by the ISA, the countries under consideration for solar projects have energy issues related to the perishability of agriculture products, unreliable electricity supply in health centers, and irrigation purposes in remote areas where grid power supply or solar mini grids are not available yet, the release stated.
Solar projects in these countries are focused on the areas of cold storage, solarization of health care facilities, and solar water pumping systems are under consideration, the release stated.
The successful execution of these projects is expected to enhance energy access, create employment, and provide reliable and quality power supply in these Indo-Pacific countries, the release stated.
Solar energy is a viable solution to help these countries address climate change-related challenges.
"The latest round of clean energy investments by India in these countries strengthens the nation's commitment of the Quad to address the challenges posed by climate change and facilitate their transition to a clean energy economy for the people, planet and our shared prosperity," the MEA release added.

कागोशिमा यूनिवर्सिटी के हिसाशी सहारा और क्योटो प्रीफेक्चरल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ मेडिसिन के मासायोशी ओकुमी के नेतृत्व में शोधकर्ताओं की टीम ने इस प्रक्रिया को अंजाम दिया. 7 साल के &nbsp;बंदर को ट्रांसप्लांट की गई. जानकारी के अनुसार किडनी एक 2&frac12; महीने के सुअर से प्राप्त की गई थी. सुअर के जीन को इस प्रकार संशोधित किया गया था कि वायरस संक्रमण और इम्यून सिस्टम का खतरा कम किया जा सके.
ट्रांसप्लांट के बाद बंदर की स्थिति अच्छी
शोधकर्ताओं ने सोमवार दोपहर तक पुष्टि की कि बंदर की हालत स्वस्थ है और उसकी किडनी सही तरीके से काम कर रही है. एक शोधकर्ता ने बताया, &ldquo;हम जेनोट्रांसप्लांटेशन के क्षेत्र में लगातार प्रगति करना चाहते हैं और इसके व्यावहारिक उपयोग के लिए मार्ग प्रशस्त करना चाहते हैं.&rdquo;
क्या है आगे की प्लानिंग
पोर्मेडटेक ने फरवरी 2024 से अब तक 39 डोनर सूअरों का उत्पादन किया है. ये प्रक्रिया यूएस-आधारित बायोटेक स्टार्टअप ईजेनेसिस से आए कोशिकाओं का उपयोग करके पूरी की गई. आनुवंशिक रूप से तैयार किए गए भ्रूण को सरोगेट मदर सूअरों में ट्रांसफर कर क्लोन पिगलेट तैयार किए गए. कंपनी के पास अब 13 आनुवंशिक रूप से संशोधित सूअर हैं और वे इनका इस्तेमाल प्राइमेट्स पर और ट्रांसप्लांट में करने की योजना बना रहे हैं.
नया अध्याय खोलने की तैयारी
इस शोध ने जेनोट्रांसप्लांटेशन के क्षेत्र में नए दरवाजे खोल दिए हैं. आने वाले समय में ये तकनीक इंसानों के शरीर के अंगों की कमी को दूर करने और गंभीर बीमारियों का समाधान ढूंढने में अहम भूमिका निभा सकती है.

Bangladesh today summoned India's envoy to Dhaka, hours after closing its visa and consular office in Tripura following a security incident yesterday. Tensions between both countries are high amid violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma arrived at the Foreign Ministry Office in Dhaka at 4 pm local time.
"The Indian High Commissioner has been summoned by acting foreign secretary Reaz Hamidullah," Bangladesh's state-run news agency said. Hours earlier, a notice from the Bangladesh High Commissioner's office in Tripura stated that "Given the security situation, all visa and consular services at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Agartala will remain suspended until further notice."
It also stated that "This comes into effect immediately".
Around 50 people had participated in a massive protest against the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das in Agartala yesterday.
During the protest, they entered the premises of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission. This drew a sharp response from the interim government in the neighbouring country. Dhaka alleged that local police were "not found to be active in containing the situation". It said the incident had left the mission staff with a "deep sense of insecurity" and called upon New Delhi to take "immediate action".
The Ministry of External Affairs responded that the incident in "deeply regrettable". "Diplomatic and consular properties should not be targeted under any circumstances. Government is taking action to step up security arrangements for the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi and their Deputy/Assistant High Commissions in the country," a statement said.
The number of cops at the Bangladesh mission in Agartala has been stepped up after yesterday's incident.
After the meeting, the Indian High Commissioner said, "We have a wide-ranging, multi-faceted relationship, and as I have said before, you cannot reduce it to one issue or one agenda. We are working across many issues. We (India) always wants to build a positive, stable and constructive relationship. There are many interdependencies we have and we want to build on that to mutual benefit."
He further said that "We will keep ensuring that our cooperation benefits our two peoples. The number of positive developments to our relationship in the last few months - from trade, to power transmission, to supplying essential commodities - we have maintained a lot of positivity in our relationship."
"We are also willing to work with the interim government in Bangladesh. We are committed to work with them to fulfil our shared aspirations for peace, security and development."
India has taken up the issue of Hindus being targeted in Bangladesh and priests being arrested by the authorities in Bangladesh. There have also been multiple incidents of violence, vandalism and desecration targeting the minority Hindu community. &nbsp;

Justin Baldoni's former publicist, Stephanie Jones, has filed a lawsuit against the actor, his company, and his current publicity team. The lawsuit alleges that Baldoni breached their contract, which required him to pay Jonesworks $25,000 per month. The lawsuit also accuses Abel and publicist Melissa Nathan of orchestrating a smear campaign against Blake Lively, Baldoni's co-star in 'It Ends With Us.' Jones claims that she had no knowledge of or involvement in the alleged smear campaign and that Abel and Nathan are now attempting to shift the blame onto her.

When Abel returned her company phone to Jones, Jones claims she found text messages and emails concerning Abel's collaboration with Baldoni and his studio, Wayfarer. It was then that Jones realized her employee had been part of a retaliation campaign against Lively.

"To this day, Abel and Nathan continue to point the finger falsely at Jones now that their own misconduct is coming to light, and to defame and attack Jones in the industry," the lawsuit states.

The lawsuit also claims that around the release of 'It Ends With Us' in August, Baldoni grew concerned that Lively might publicly accuse him of sexual harassment.

The suit alleges that Abel, Nathan, and Wayfarer's Jamey Heath collaborated to devise a "no-holds-barred strategy to discredit and suppress any potential revelations about Baldoni's on-set behaviour." As part of this plan, they allegedly launched "a smear campaign against Lively."

Jones claims she was unaware of these actions and asserts that Abel and Nathan "secretly conspired" to damage her reputation, poach her clients, and shift blame onto her for the campaign against Lively.

The eruption released 24 cubic miles of gases, dust, and rock into the atmosphere, causing global temperatures to plummet, eventually leading to a 1-degree-Celsius cooling of the Northern Hemisphere.

Scientists warn that even with state-of-the-art sensors and seismic instruments at disposal, predicting when the volcano eruption will hit us is impossible. However, one thing is certain, as per Dr Stoffel: "Humanity does not have any plan."

"It's a more unstable world now. The effects might be even worse than we saw back in 1815," he added.

Climate change influences volcanic activity massively. The melting of ice caps due to rising temperatures can reduce pressure on magma chambers, potentially leading to more frequent eruptions. Additionally, more intense rainfall, another byproduct of climate change, can infiltrate deep underground, interacting with magma and possibly triggering volcanic activity.

Despite the potential for a temporary global cooling following a massive eruption, scientists caution against viewing it as a silver lining in the fight against climate change.

The urgency of the warning was recently felt in Hawaii when the Kilauea volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, erupted again. Scientists measured that it spewed columns of lava 80 meters (260 feet) into the air. The volcano has been active since 1983 and prior to December, the last eruption was observed in June 2024 and lasted about five days.

It is one of six active volcanoes located in the Hawaiian Islands, which also include Mauna Loa, the largest volcano in the world, though Kilauea is far more active.
